Fairfield Inn Charlotte Mooresville/Lake Norman

The friendliest staff I have ever encountered!!! The room was super clean- Breakfast was simple and sweet- This was a quick overnight stay for us but it left a lasting impression on how nice and hospitable people can be- It was late when we came in and the women who checked us in was so kind and sweet- She quickly got us our keys and told us everything we needed to know- When I checked out another extremely kind women at the front desk- I truly wish all of my hotels experiences were this pleasant - I have no reason to go back to this area but if I did I would 100% book this hotel again-

Decent hotel but was still kinda rough in spots. Room was OK, dated and definitely musty smell. Not overpowering but there. Breakfast and coffee weren't appetizing so we skipped it. Was ok cleaning but still dirty in spots

I drove over 400 miles on I-81 and was completely exhausted, so I decided to stop near Charlotte. The name of the hotel sounded nice — I thought “Norman Lake” might be a fancy resort.Crossing from Virginia into North Carolina, the drive was beautiful. The road wound through the mountains with lakes popping up here and there — such a big change from the flat East Coast.The hotel itself was just okay. The facilities were average, the AC was pretty noisy, and the mattress was way too soft for me. Breakfast didn’t leave much of an impression, except for the endless coffee.Overall, it was a decent place for a quick stay.

Great location to stay, staff is super kind. The place was super clean. Very warm and welcoming. They had fresh baked cookies on check in and treat bags for Bonvoy members. Location was easy to get to. Breakfast was standard fair. Staff worked hard to keep up with the load. I would stay again.

Came down from WV to go wedding dress shopping for my niece. We didn’t make a reservation because we weren’t sure where we would end up. When I went on the app it only showed they had a King with a sofa bed instead of 2 queen. There were 3 of us, so I opted for it. When we arrived Dee was AMAZING! I asked about a double, she found one that had just canceled. She made the quick switch, which we were thankful for. There was a group that walked in coming back from dinner. They all spoke to her and thanked her for her recommendation on dinner because they loved it. Room was wonderful, breakfast was great! Simply best experience!!
