Carolina Inn & Suites of Lake Norman

The hotel staff at desk, very helpful. We had no reservation. We were to stay in Statesville but because of a reno nightmare we cncled came here. At first look at the premises, clean grounds, building is presentable. The room well main floor, parked right out front. Bonus, yet not lying needs updating, fresh paint, newer floors, furniture. Clean though.. .

Great location. Stayed during Helene and even though it’s an older motel it’s very well kept. Friendly staff and basic breakfast but plenty of food choices near by. Mooresville is a nice place nearby Lake Norman. Traffic could be better but the exit literally has everything you can need.

Great price for this hotel. Very clean and convenient. The people who work at the front desk are amazing and so helpful. My family and I were stranded in Charlotte after our flight was cancelled in the middle of the night with nowhere to go. They helped us out immediately and allowed us to check in and out the next morning with no issue. We were able to get some sleep and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Next time we visit the area we will use this hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful! Great location, a little noisy on the highway but good. The room looked recently updated but a little dirty. Not like they weren’t clean from the last visit, rather like they’ve been sitting unused for a month or two. Just a thin layer of dust on everything. Fantastic price, nice staff, felt safe, and complimentary breakfast so can’t really complain! Thank you Carolina Inn, I will definitely be choosing you next time I’m in the area! Local business is the best business!

Bed is noisy. Paid a lot for this room yet it is not worth it. Bathroom is small and nasty. The shower is absolutely the worst one. Water would get stuck in shower head. Little hairs would come out. Best not to come here.
