Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Miami Airport West/Doral

My family and I stayed here ahead of our cruise in January. The hotel has very clean and updated amenities including a pool, gym, and spacious rooms. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, great for my family of 4. They had an airport shuttle which got us from the airport and are in a great neighborhood for food and light shopping. They also have a cruise shuttle service which you can schedule which is an added bonus. Shout out to Gabriel at the front desk, your service, kindness , and warmth was amazing!!!! Thank you for being great! I would definitely stay again

The rooms were very large and clean. The beds were big and comfortable but the pillows were thin and flattened. The TV had a lot of options for what to see. We also got to check in to the hotel early, which was nice. Breakfast area was very crowded but they had a lot of food options. The food was fresh and delicious. Only problem was that they said they had a 9:00 airport shuttle but they didn’t and the 9:30 shuttle was full. Overall, there were a few minor issues but it was still a good hotel.

Positive: "" Negative: I did not like the fact that on site they showed us one picture of the room and that’s the room we purchased but when we got there we didn’t get everything we paid for a shower chair. Then the ceiling was dripping water during breakfast hours.

Really nice hotel. The staff was very friendly after needing a last-minute check-in. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. I would most definitely stay here again whenever in the area.

This is one of the worst‑managed but great hotels I’ve stayed at, mainly because they’re dishonest about the little things that matter. If you’re choosing this place for the shuttle service like we did, don’t—because it’s simply not true. I scheduled a 9:00 AM shuttle the day before, yet when we came downstairs at 8:35 AM, we were told it had already left. There may be one around 9:30 but not sure. The manager then instructed me to take an Uber and assured me I would be reimbursed. I emailed the receipt immediately and followed up a week later—no response. When I called after 2 weeks, I was placed on hold for 35 minutes for manager, then the call dropped. Tried calling back a few times, my call was not picked up. Completely unprofessional. There’s no need to lie about amenities and waste y
