Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Kansas City Liberty

The room was very clean, and there were plenty of breakfast options, although the coffee was a little weaker than I prefer. The fitness room was small but adequate, and clean. All the staff we encountered were great, particularly Brittany, who did an exceptional job staying calm and professional while juggling multiple phone calls and checking us in and getting us in a room that was quiet (there were a LOT of rowdy teenagers around for some sports events). She was the only person at the front desk at the time, and I was very impressed with her customer service and phone etiquette as she got us checked in.

The breakfast was really good and the cook (Becky) was really kind and helped my boyfriend and I figure out a plan for our day! They had good sausage, eggs, and bagels! I appreciate the cozy and modern aesthetic of the hotel, the design and layout are nice and clean. The hotel staff are also kind, although the pool was closed when we first got here.

I booked 2 rooms at this hotel, one for me and my husband, and one for our son. Our son arrived at the hotel over an hour before us, so I called the hotel and ask that they please let him check into his room by just running the charge to my card that I used to confirm the reservation. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my request, and he was able to check in and get ready for the wedding we were in town for. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the staff and checked in promptly. The room was very clean, and was spacious enough for our needs. The room had 2 double beds, a work desk and chair, a chair to relax in, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and a cabinet to hang our clothes, and we weren't cramped at all. The bathroom was very clean, had plenty of towels, and toiletries.

Room was clean, but we specifically wanted a pool & hot tub for our 1 night stay. Hot tub was out of order & the pool was SUPER COLD!! They even had the AC blowing in the pool room. I was cold just sitting in the indoor pool room reading while my child treaid to swim. We stayed in there for less than 10 min. The breakfast was ok. Found a moldy prepackaged muffin. We were down for breakfast at 7:15 (it opens at 7) they were already out of coffee & when I told them they had already made more just hadn't filled it. I then noticed the worker filling everything...it didn't seem busy enough to have went though that much...seemed more like it wasn't stocked properly before they opened.

For our 2 night stay here recently what we found was a clean & neat room, albeit slightly small & just a little outdated but everything we needed for a comfortable stay. For our Saturday check in we accidentally made a mistake & booked a Sunday check in but after working with management they found us a room so hats off to them. Not all Hotels would have been so accommodating. The Fairfield is also conveniently located just a few minutes off the freeway ( 35 ) & it's just a short drive/walk to many restaurants such as 1) Longhorn Steakhouse 2) Saltgrass Steakhouse 3) Scratch Gourmet Kitchen 4) Waffle House 5) Cracker Barrel & more. All in all the Fairfield provided us with everything we could have expected & more for our stay & we won't hesitate to book with them again next time we pass
