Extended Stay America Suites- Kansas City - South

My experience staying here at this hotel has been beyond exceptional. The manager David is a devoted man of God. The best customer service I’ve ever experienced treat everybody like a human being and loves everybody. He does not even feel like a stranger. It feels like family and somebody I’ve known for years I would recommend this place for anyone if you are looking for a short-term home or just somewhere to stay traveling this place is definitely it. Staff is friendly rooms are very clean. I have no problems. They always accommodate me for anything that I’ve ever needed no matter how small or how big it is.

Positive: This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms were nasty, I had to clean them myself to even make it seem a little better. The carpets are horribly stained. There was bed bugs and roaches. The staff they were rude. Negative: There was a lot I didn't like. The way I was treated by Roman and David. The cleanliness. Just everything was really bad.

First i showed up the lady barely acknowledged me asked me to come back in 30 minutes to check in. After we came back i was asked to wait again. When i finally got checked in and paid. I went to take my stuff to my room i was told that i needed to pay for my emotional support animals. I had 2 dogs and cat who 3 days ago had kittens. They told me that i couldn't have the kittens or 1 of my dogs as only 2 pets are allowed. And apparently 3 day old kittens that can't live without their mother puts me over the limit. So i am staying 3 nights because that's how long it will take to get my refund for the rest of the nights. So i guess until then we just get to sleep with the roaches while the pets including the kittens sleep in while my pets sleep in below freezing temps. I even called coporate

I really wish I had read the reviews before booking, because our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing from the moment we pulled in. The outside of the hotel smelled strongly like cigarette smoke and weed. Walking through the parking lot, we saw multiple bottles filled with what looked like urine. It didn’t feel clean or safe, and it was very loud, doors slamming, people yelling, and we were woken up several times throughout both nights. We booked this stay using points while visiting the area for a potential relocation, and had we not been in a pinch, we would have absolutely stayed somewhere else. Check-in was stressful. Their internet was down which I understand happens but the man at the front desk was unfriendly, impatient, and came across as annoyed that we were even

I love Ramone. Jason. Elsie n messiah.. they so understanding and cool… they not judgmental and they talk to you like a human.. not like a homeless bum… they the best and if anybody say else wise they jst mad the didn’t get they way… period …Any issues you have they try to solve asap… I can’t speak for everybody but for me a single mom of 2 under 5 they really helpful and i appreciate them more than they know…
