Extended Stay America Suites- Kansas City - Airport - Tiffany Springs

The customer service was excellent. The lady who checked us in was polite, welcoming, and very professional. The hotel was short-staffed, and she actually had to come over from another hotel to help, but you would never have known it. She handled everything like a pro. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very dated. The rooms feel extremely worn and are in need of a deep cleaning. In the room I stayed in, the counter looked like someone had dropped a large piece of luggage on it—it was bent into a “U” shape and almost pulling away from the wall. The kitchen area also felt like stepping back into the 1980s. Everything looked old and outdated. The beds were very uncomfortable as well. The mattresses had noticeable dips where previous guests had slept, which made it difficult to get a good n

Positive: Nothing. If I could give a zero, I would. The room was filthy, roaches in the hallway and signs of roaches in the room. Huge stains all over the furniture. Room smelled like stale cigarettes and regret. Negative: Horrible experience. Due to the level of filth and bugs, we absolutely could not sleep here. After returning from dinner, we realized just how disgusting the hotel is and immediately checked out.

First and foremost they charge you $100 incidental which is standard for most hotels completely understandable. However they follow that up with we do not allow smoking of anything on our premises unless it’s outside however the contact high that you can get from walking through the hallways must be acceptable. The room was utterly horrible, my family and I were in going to be in two different rooms one was a handicap room that looked like it hadn’t been clean since 1919 and the other in the room that I was going to be in was so small that if you turned around you’d bump into the other side of it and was filthy had crap all over the floor and underneath the bed . We were going to be in units 333 and 334 across the hall from each other, after being inside of the room only 20 minutes decided

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The front desk clerk was very rude didn’t welcome us with a smile just an attitude. She was on her cell phone while checking us in, very unprofessional. The hotel smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. There were roaches in the room crawling on the couch. It was disgusting that I had to kill a roach in the room. This location deserves negative stars. Nancy should not be a manager, she has horrible people skills.

Stay away! There’s tons of other hotels in the surrounding area that are cleaner with more friendly staff. When we checked in, the elevator and my father’s room smelt strong of meth/cigarettes. We had other accommodations to make so we decided to deal with the issues later. After we came back to the room, I noticed my hair dryer was broken, dirt on the bathtub and sink, fridge was dirty, couch was disgusting and under the bed hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. My father called down to get sheets for the fold out bed (which had crumbs/various debris inside) and the staff rudely told him to come down and get it. While I’m not expecting someone to bring up sheets, providing to bring up sheets or even tell us where the laundry room was would have been appreciated. I ended up sleeping w
