Extended Stay America Suites- Jacksonville - Deerwood Park

2nd night stay, was awaken by loud screams and banging off a domestic violence dispute. Almost an hour later stepped out of my room to go down stairs and was greeted with scattered trash (used condoms), blatantly disgusting!!.. Checked in today... You are basically paying to serve yourself. I waited for a luggage cart for hours, they did tell me to check the other floors...WTH!!!...I DON'T WORK HERE(MY frustration is On 10). I'm not about to any other floor to check for something that should be on the main Floor. I wouldn't stay here with my own money. Having A 3rd floor stay there is An unbearable smell. They do allow pets, so prepare for the people that do not do great hygiene with their pets. For the price I'll be staying for a week you can definitely negotiate and stay somewhere els

Deposit has not been refunded. I stayed at the Extended Stay America at Deerwood Park, Jacksonville, FL on 1/11/2026-1/12/2026. I checked out on 1/13/2026. My deposit has not been refunded yet. Can someone explain the deposit refund process and why my deposit has not been refunded yet? The room is old, a lot of wear and tear. I only stayed there two nights, no pet, no smoke, no any damage. At least, no one checked my room when I moved out and told me there is a damage. Why my deposit has not been refunded yet?

Positive: Nothing Negative: The room had a strong odor, so I bought a humidifier from Walmart. The floor was dirty, and the sofa and table needed cleaning. The lamp was not working. They haven't refunded my $100 deposit yet.

Absolutely disgusting. I had to change rooms twice due to the horrible conditions. The TVs didn’t work in either room, and I physically had to move a TV from one room to another myself just to have a functioning one. The rooms were filthy, run-down, and poorly maintained. The hallways were just as bad—the carpet was so dirty and sticky that your shoes literally stuck to it while walking. The molding was falling off the walls, and the entire place looked neglected. There were undesirable individuals lingering in the hallways, loud music blasting throughout the night, and overall it did not feel safe or secure at all. This is supposed to be an extended-stay hotel, but the kitchen was unusable. I would not consider storing or preparing food there under any circumstances. Everything was cove
