Extended Stay America Suites- Fort Wayne - South

Positive: "" Negative: Dirty room. Hair on the towels and food on the floor under beds. TV didnt work right and there wasn't a single trashcan in the room. For my second night, I was told I had to leave because hotel was overbooked and they didnt have a room for me.

There was a literal muddy puddle on the floor of the room we JUST walked into. In the same room, one of the beds was broken. When I went up to the desk, she said “I can come clean that up real quick”?!?! Umm no. I’m not staying in a room that clearly hasn’t been cleaned. We moved to a different room. The hallways and room smelled so bad. There was paint coming off the walls, stains on the cabinets, the floors were dirty, there were bugs in the bathroom and grime around the faucet.. Staying here felt like hitting rock bottom- not a vacation. I have photos but it won’t let me post them. Also, I paid $165 for one night even tho it’s advertised for $65. PLUS A $100 deposit. Soooo $265 total to stay in squalor. Non-refundable.

The Extended Stay America, Fort Wayne South location was exceptionally good. For someone that travels extensively and have to stay for long periods of time, I would recommend this location. It offers very comfortable beds and clean rooms that makes the stay a pleasant experience, after a daily 12hr shift at work. I usually cook for myself and the kitchen is really a bonus. The staff is super nice and makes you feel at home. The front desk reception, Dawn and Reggie always went out of the way to assist in any way possible, exceptional service. Unfortunately I do not remember the others names, but I do have to thank them as well.

Upon arrival the front desk associate had an attitude because my check in interrupted her conversation with her daughter. When I entered the room it reaked of spoiled food and refrigerator refrigerant. I immediately requested another room. 10 minutes later I finally received a call to come get keys to another room. The 2nd room had no odor but the floors were filthy. They were also slippery I was sliding in my gym shoes. My daughters white socks were black with hair on them. There is no way the floors were cleaned prior to our visit. I was checked out by the same woman at check in. She asked about my stay outside of the first room with the odor. I shared the floor was filthy and she ignored it. No comment whatsoever. They have a sign in the room about cleanliness. Its just a sign the

I booked a room September 13 through the 15th of this month checked in at 3 PM. Room was completely filthy , hair all in the bathroom, hair all in the sink , hair in the kitchen!! The bathroom shower head did not work and sheets were dirty with spots all on it, After observing my room for 15 minutes, I went to the front desk and reported that the room was filthy. Dawn who works in front desk! Told me that I cannot get my refund back because I’ve been in a room for 45 minutes and that was a lie. We still had our things in the car. We did not bring everything to the room. That’s how fast I was in and out that room.! Until this day, I requested my money back and Don told me since I booked with a third-party. I cannot get my money back but I can get my deposit back. I paid in total $350 f
