Extended Stay America Suites- Columbia - Columbia Corporate Park

We stayed here while in town to visit family for Thanksgiving. This location was close to the first family we were visiting, and the rooms were spacious for the 6 people in our party (we had 3 adults in each room). The rooms (deluxe suites) were basic with nothing fancy for decor, but they served our purpose as a place to stay and sleep, plus we cooked breakfast and a side dish for our next family gathering . There is a small coffee table, a tv, and a small breakfast table with chair that we used for serving up breakfast. The open closet has an upper shelf, hangers, an iron and board, plus 2 lower shelves and drawers for putting clothes in. There are also night stands with lamps and an outlet on both sides of the king bed. The beds were a king and a sleep sofa, which were adequate, but not

I like Extended Stay Americas. Stayed at them multiple times in different locations. Sold my house and moved back to Maryland recently. Know the area well. ||So here goes:|The staff is nice!|The first night I checked in and got on elevator, I smelled weed. When I got to my floor, half the hallway smelled like a weed "cloud." I know weed is legal and it really doesn't bother me...if you're in your own house smoking it! ||Someone dropped a "used" condom inside the elevator. That was special!||I like dogs. Dogs like me. And people love their dogs, sometimes more than people. But I don't like hearing dogs barking for no reason. And I can smell them when I walk by their room in the hallway.||There's some families that appear to be living here. Times are tough for a lot of people. N

Positive: It was relatively quiet an peaceful, am I like the kitchen area Negative: I was told this hotel had a pool, when in fact it did not have a pool. Also the room I was in bathroom tub was dirty rusted. The toilet seat broken. Poor cleaning she it comes to the bathroom. Everything else was fine.

David at Extended Stay has been consistently amazing. Every time I interact with him, he’s friendly, upbeat, and down to earth in a way that feels genuine. Nothing feels forced. He’s professional and efficient, but still takes the time to be present and personable. What stands out most is the consistency. Some guests are just passing through, and some are living here longer term. Either way, the front desk becomes part of your everyday experience. David shows up the same way every time - calm, steady, respectful. There’s no tension or unpredictability. That kind of reliability makes a difference, whether you’re here for a night or for a while. Extended Stay didn’t just hire staff… they hire presence.

I recently stayed at Extended Stay America and was extremely disappointed by the condition and cleanliness of the room. The entire place smelled bad from the moment I walked in. The sofa looked/smelled like it had been urinated on, the floor was filthy, and I even had to clean up poop off the floor myself. The fridge was dirty and smelled awful, and several cabinets were broken. I paid extra for my pet and expected a clean, comfortable room — but this was far from it. There was no chair or desk, and the room wasn’t stocked with basic items. You can get some kitchen supplies from the front desk, but it’s very barebones, and finding staff for help wasn’t easy. I even had to buy my own toilet paper due to lack of staffing. To make matters worse, the AC stopped working and the water was shut
