Extended Stay America Select Suites- Columbia - Gateway Drive

It stinks. Smells like every country on map, body & personal home smell you can imagine. Can't identify the smell location. Coming from above, vents, walls and hallway. Gets into your clothes. Was embarrassed by the smell at work. My Coworkers could smell. They made faces and added comments. It's not usual for me to have a foul scent. So definitely was able to blame hotel. Dogs pee in hallways. Folks smoking weed in hallways when can't make it outside. Close to building so even if you go outside you have to walk pass it. If you are trying to remain sober you may catch contact. I will say this isn't the HOTELS fault. But the folks staying don't have the common decency some were raised with. So I will make sure to add that. The staff CARE!! They do keep clean where they can. But long term p

Myself and my wife stayed this weekend and the guy that checked us in was extremely nice but the lady that checked us out was extremely rude she kept coming to the room telling us we had to check out when we were in the process of getting our things packed to leave we felt extremely rushed, it was a overall bad experience. They need to talk to employees about customer service.

The staff at this Extended Stay location on Eli Whitney road deserve a lot of praise and appreciation. Special shout out to Ms Sophia and Ms Eunice. These ladies are a treasure to this establishment. Please promote them, treat them to some nice bonuses, paid trips or something. I'm so serious, they go above and beyond to make sure everyone is treated so well and happy. I hope management will read and see this, cherish your most valuable assets, your staff. I really mean this!

This is the worst shiz hole I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying at. The night we checked in- we were in town for a concert so we got in late. We were told at check in that there would be no one there after a certain time but all we had to do was call and someone would answer. ||After getting from a concert at Merriweather one of us from the group had to go to the bathroom. The toilet wouldn’t flush right and ended up getting stopped up. When we called for a plunger it took forever to get one and then we had to go get it -‘after waiting for someone to answer the call for almost five minutes.||We had four of us in a room- we had a room with two doubles and a pull out- but no linens. We had a full kitchen but no coffee maker. And no breakfast offered at the hotel… ||I’m the morning we go

This place is horrible ,smells and dirty. The front desk dyed clerk curly head man jgoes around bumming for cigarettes and weed all day from guest and let's the guest and their kids run around this establishment without a care in the world making noise and screaming. Overheard a guest say he gives extra towels and tissue for cigarettes.. it starts with the employees first . Nice location but this place is the worst .. Stop hiring people that moves into this hotel but could careless about anything here
