Embassy Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Baymeadows

It was a busy night when we checked in. After settling into our room, we started storing food in the refrigerator, only to discover it was broken. As we were heading down, Jay, the maintenance tech, was on our floor and asked if everything was alright. I explained the issue with our refrigerator, and he immediately took it upon himself to get us a replacement. The next day, the staff during breakfast were great. Steve and Zack provided excellent omelets and were very easygoing and pleasant to talk to. Throughout our dining experience, Mattie and Joseph periodically checked on our table to remove empty dishes and utensils. Each one of these individuals contributed to making our stay very pleasant. Their performance truly ensured that me and family's stay was beyond pleasant. I believe the

Positive: I liked the quiet room, great breakfast, and the evening reception. Negative: The bathroom we had needs updating. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken. The bathroom ceiling had a leak that was taken care of while we were out. The shower faucet fell off but was fixable. The turn on direction was weird.

Super impressed with this location! Rooms were slightly dated and dim, but the other perks make up for it. Hilton Gold get water bottles at check in, plus a snack from the snack shop. Lots of kids and families at this hotel. There is a snack time from 5pm until 6:30pm, which has free chips, salsa, ranch, salad, goldfish, snack mix and 2 free drinks. Pool is warm and the hot tub is right there in the same indoor location. There is also fresh towels in the pool area. Breakfast is a standout for this hotel. Custom made omelettes, plenty of thick cut bacon, sausages, eggs, breakfast potatoes and plenty of cereal. Juices, milk, coffee and soda is also available. We traveled through the area on NYE. The hotel was VERY busy with families, groups, and couples. We had no Hilton Honor welcome or perks. The facilities are in need of a refresh. The rooms are typical but definitely show their age. The manager reception was busy, and snacks were a strange assortment. 2 drink max. Made to order omelettes were made on fry top sadly making them greasy.|The pool deck was slippery and no towels by the end of the night. A positive is that last hour is ADULTS ONLY! Small hottub with minimal power. This hotel was a miss for us .

Overall the room was nice and clean. The staff was helpful. The evening managers reception was nothing to write home about(the need to take hint from the other hotels who do this. I stayed at another brand hotel that served hot dogs and hamburger and condiments. There was also soup and salad. Drinks included coffe, soda, sweet tea all this was free when you stayed this hotel. The hot tube was plenty hot enough,but the strength of the hot tub jets was almost none existent. The breakfast was good,but they kept running out of breakfast food like the fresh fruit,and other items and even the coffee kept running out. They did not have enough people keeping an eye on the buffet and the coffee to keep it replenished.
