Economy Inn

The desk clerk did not understand English. Said they accepted American Express in their ad but did not when I checked in. Very difficult to communicate with this man. He had to call someone twice to help him with the transaction. There is no lobby here. Just a small dirty anteroom with a glassed check in desk. No coffee, no materials about the area--no nothing. The hotel is located in an industrial area with huge trucks going up and down the highway. Advertised Wifi but there was none. The room was all right. Basic accommodation nothing more. We were a bit surprised to see a mirror on the ceiling. Halfway through the night a taxi pulled up down the way. Wasn't expecting much because of cost of room. However, the room smelled of cigarettes and it bothered my asthma. Unfortunately, alI rooms can be smoked in. This is not good for persons with health issues. Usually hotels designate smoking areas but this one does not. I told the guy but he had no air fresher. Stay at a Hilton or Double Tree, also there is one close to a food club far up by Wal-Mart that is nice. Good luck! Just noticed the guy at Executive Inn has his address as Economy Inn. Don't be fooled. This review is for Executive Inn.

We stayed here in March of 2015 on our way to visit relatives in Myrtle Beach. It was filthy, my wife would not allow our Grand-daughter to take a shower, the bathroom was so filthy. We had booked on line and will never do it again. The clerk spoke very little English and the beds were awful, no blankets provided and it was 40 degrees outside. Avoid this place like the plague!! Wifi was available but you could not get on so they may as well no have it.

It's kinda gross injust stopped by too look for a place to crash since i was tired and didn't feel like ddoving and the stench was too much... it would've been cheap though.

It wasn't a loveable experience because of the place but why I was there. It was old and needs alot of remodeling. It had roaches but was clean as could possibly be
