Econo Lodge Metro

Of all the 50-70 hotels I’ve booked in dozens of countries worldwide, this was by far the worst. The location is extremely inconvenient. The hotel entrance and exit are directly at a busy intersection with constant traffic. There are no decent shops, gas stations, or restaurants nearby—everything is far away. Driving doesn’t help because there is no parking, so you either walk long distances or don’t go anywhere at all. There was a strong smell of marijuana throughout our floor, which was especially disturbing since I was traveling with my wife and our 4-year-old child. As soon as we entered the room, we were hit with an equally disgusting smell—something like chemicals, sewage, or a ventilation issue. We kept the windows open all day, but the room never aired out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The girl who checked me in was absolutely wonderful — so kind, professional, and welcoming! She really set the tone for a great stay. This place is super cute, very clean, and perfectly quiet — ideal for anyone traveling or just needing a peaceful getaway. The location couldn’t be better, surrounded by amazing restaurants and friendly patrons. Everything about my experience felt easy, comfortable, and genuine. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

The front desk employees are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It's a great location for easy access to the Metro. The price is extremely affordable, especially when stacked against the other hotels in the area which are much more expensive.

Great value motel under $100. Within walking distance to East Falls Church station and can zip to DC in 30 minutes. Rooms are nothing to write home about but clean and spacious. Probably one of the few motels that is in good shape, close enough to DC, and within this price range. Enjoyed my stay and will come back if I'm looking for a value stay during a quick visit here.

Our son was getting married and we had a room booked at a nearby hotel for Wed-Sun for the wedding. Even though we confirmed for Wednesday night they didn’t have a room for us. I called Econo Lodge because we had stayed there in the past and really liked it. They had rooms and upon explaining our situation they went above and beyond to accommodate us even putting us in an entry floor room instead of going down the stairs.
