Eagle Inn Sumter

Made reservations 2 weeks early and confirmed the room. When we get there they deny us a room. We had a dog in the truck, who would stay in the truck and sleep, not in the room... They didn't care. Reservations completely denied/rejected. The dog had nothing to do with the room, and we had no intention of abusing the rules. They still would not honor the reservation.

We stayed in July in this motel. Inspite of coming after midnight we were checked in very fast (without booking). The room was big and clean, the beds - comfortable (or we were very tired). That was all we needed to overnight. I cannot say anything bad about staff, they was polite. The price is equal to the quality,

This place is not clean the bathroom tub was so dirty ! Floor was dirty haven’t been moped burn hole in furniture light fixture was missing bulbs ! Not enough clean towels or wash cloths lack of toilet paper brought my own would not recommend this place to anyone needs lots of update

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS!!!! they did not clean the room open beer cans in fridge , mold in fridge. sat on the bed and all the bed bugs came out!!! told the front desk they didnt believe me they said “ they only come out at night!!! i said i have time stamped video and pictures they said “ it could have been taken anywhere” as they laughed in my face!! RUN RUN FAR AWAY!! THIS IS A DRUG HOTEL

We had to cleanse ourselves with Lysol and holy water when we made it out of there. I recoiled in horror when I opened the non-working fridge and an awful musty smell one would expect to find only in the deepest pits of Hell hit me. The shower drain was clogged and the bathtub was so disgusting we had to give our baby a sponge bath on the counter. Some twitchy-looking dude was wandering around outside glaring at people half the night and nobody told him to leave.
