DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC - Crystal City

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel in Arlington and really enjoyed my visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very large and seemed to host many big events during my stay. While some areas felt a bit dated, everything was clean, well-kept, and taken care of. The complimentary shuttle to and from the nearby airport was extremely convenient, and we also took advantage of the luggage holding area before check-in and after check-out. I’d definitely stay again!

This was an awesome visit for us. The price of the room was great to start with. The service I received as soon as we got there was excellent. The concierge was very helpful as soon as we got there. My son was going to the Lakers/Wizard game so I had some time to kill. I went to the Skydome which is their revolving restaurant. It was awesome to say the least. I also went into the gym to do a workout and was quite impressed with how much they had in there. I will definitely be visiting this hotel again.

Do not stay here. My wife and I were flying out of DCA airport early in the morning, so we were looking for a place to spend the night, leave our car for a week, and have a quick shuttle ride to the airport. Found this hotel online, and it seemed to fit the bill. First problem was our inability to book a shuttle to the airport. (The shuttle is handled via a third-party website, not by the hotel.) Not a big deal; we'd pay a few bucks to Uber to the airport. Bigger issue was when we went back to our room after grabbing a quick dinner and found a LARGE cockroach on the wall. (See picture.) We stayed here for 4 days for Christmas vacation 2025. The market place staff inside the hotel, (where they also serve breakfast ) were great, very friendly and helping. There is also a gift shop inside the hotel. Especially , the skydome on 15th floor is amazing!!! My son had booked dinner for Christmas eve. This was the best experience I ever had. You the see the entire DC monuments!. The service at this place was beyond explanation. We wanted vegetarian option, they specially made some vegetarian food for us. I can give more than 5 stars for skydome in particular in this hotel. I highly recommend anybody who visits DC to stay at this hotel. Our Manager Mr. Chandler was very friendly and helpful!. Positive: I thought the hotel was very fancy and well placed - right now there is a lot of construction which took away from the location but once complete it will be ideal. Negative: No pool. That was the saddest part of the entire stay. All those meeting rooms and no pool. I also felt at one point I had to call 2 and 3 times to get a cleaning person to assess my room - which they stated they cleaned every other day.
