Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kansas City South

Would not recommend. Came here to stay out for a weekend and I could not be more disappointed. The pictures advertised are nothing like ppls photos who actually stayed here and what we experienced. The elevator was out of service for our first day so that was annoying to climb multiple flights of stairs with all of our stuff. The room was dirty. As in completely noticeable stains on the walls, bedding, lamps, pillows, etc. I don’t understand how this is acceptable when you can clearly see things are stained so either housekeeping is not doing their job and/or they’re using dirty linens and don’t care. I also don’t understand how on a queen bed you give a single square pillow, not even a full sized pillow and no extra pillows in the room. I understand this isn’t a 4 or 5 star hotel but I

The worst hotel I've ever been too. The staff was so mean and unbelievably rude and not just one worker literally every worker that I interacted with on every shift!! They overcharged us and then wouldn't give us a refund. We were told to go call the people whoever that is. We asked for a manager or corporate number they told us to Google it. They have cockroaches. They had zero toilet paper no towels and dont dare ask the front desk for anything because you wont get it. It took us 3 days to finally get a towel. I could go on and on about how terrible it was. Let's just say i would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Positive: Our res was for over 7 days. My family stayed at this location last year, same time. We arrived this year to the same old situation. After 2 days things started to change. NEW OWNERSHIP. AMAZING. DEFINITELY A FEEL OF FAMILY AND WORKING TOGETHER. Negative: ""

Excellent service, very clean room with great hot shower, fridge, micro, safe well lit parking and fresh hot coffee in the morning in the lobby! Thank you to Mr. Patel for the outstanding customer service. We are on a long multi day drive and this hotel was close to our grandkids for a one night stay so we could go see them three next morning. The fridge in our first room wasn't working and Mr. Patel immediately changed our room and noted that the fridge in the first room would be repaired or replaced. (The first room was also very nice and clean). Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to other travelers.

Had a really good experience overall. I actually didn’t pre-book and pulled in during the recent snowstorm hoping a room was available. The desk clerk Kristina was great — super helpful and welcoming, which made a stressful situation so much easier. The room was clean and the location was convenient for getting around. There are a few small things that could be improved, but for the value and overall experience, I would definitely stay again
