Days Inn by Wyndham Kansas City Northeast

Not sure why the low rating! This place is clean, nice and quiet. The room and the grounds are maintained very well and are cleaner than any motel/hotel I've stayed at in the greater Kansas City area, which has been quite a few. Photos on site and booking apps are accurate. Manager and staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. I had an issue renewing my room with a third party app and they were very patient with me while I figured it out, even though it wasn't resolved until after the 11am check-out time. They have smoking and non smoking rooms. Options of queen, double full, and king bed rooms, and handicap accessible options as well. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, the fridge worked great, the air conditioning was cold, the blackout blind worked wonderfully, the TV worked

Positive: "" Negative: Had trouble getting in room had to go down twice to redo key. Once in room no remote for tv and smoke alarm beeping every two minutes.and phone doesn't work . For the price I paid and the trouble I had I will never stay at this motel again!!

I traveled into kc for work and am here for a month. This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Room was clean when we arrived and it's pretty quiet, but that's the only thing that earned this place it's single star. Stayed here over a week before I had to pack up and find a new hotel to accommodate my time working in Kansas City. Requested house keeping every single day and was told they'd be in "tomorrow" each time. They never showed up except for day 8 of my stay where they made half the bed and didn't leave any towels or soaps. I had already paid for my room, otherwise I would've never stayed here after the 1st night. The 1st night was also the only day my door worked. After that, it completely stopped working forcing me to go to the front desk every time I left my room to have th

So this place is not even cheap, I dunno how this says $47 I paid $150 so it's false advertising!! They act like it's a five-star hotel! They have cockroaches! I called the front desk to let her know about this and she said she doesn't have cockroaches, and I said well today you do... The only thing she said she could do was change me a rooms! If one room has them they all do !! No thanks !

Stuff harassed my daughter who is 11, and definitely not the name on the booking, and told her they were going to call the cops on her and have her removed from the property since she wasn't on the booking but their site States kids stay free. Just got out of the hospital 2 days prior to our stay due to a total loss fire disaster. Definitely didn't need any of that added stress.
