In all honesty (this will make sense towards the end of this review), I may have looked rough based on an unfortunate encounter with a man on my 100 yard walk from the hotel to the Wawa across the street. In which case no hard feelings to the hotel staff. Checking in was fine--on this particular weekend there were no available rooms in Richmond or surrounding areas that my husband and I could find. So we finally found this place, checked in, went right to sleep. Having went to bed late and unfamiliar with this hotel, I wasn't certain about the check-out time, but assumed 10 or 11. In my experience, a staff member will knock or call with a gentle reminder if you've overstayed. Very disgusting hotel. The young smelly guy had put my wife and I into some bedroom with a couch right next to it. The couch had roaches. I requested another room, even worse. We left and upgraded to a better hotel. No refund? Wait til I call the city.

THERE IS NO FREE BREAKFAST, almost no toiletries, inadequate bedding and linens, almost no staff (and what there is, is not interested in your needs), and only half the parking spaces needed. Don't use google maps: the driveway entrance is on Brooks ONLY and not well lit. It's a room, and somewhat clean, that's all: bring you own blankets and pillows. The bed did have bedbug bags on the lower mattress for protection.

I can’t believe I paid $200 for this dump. It is worn and old. No coffee pot in room. Food left in fridge from last customer. Bathroom is gross. This is a one night to sleep and get the heck out. I unfortunately read the fake reviews on hotels.com. Ugh.
