Days Inn by Wyndham Fort Wayne

Room is spacious, owners are welcoming and care about their business and appearance. They made a point to acknowledge who you are when calling and stopping in. They made extending the stay easy all the way up until my dad was able to find an apartment. Location is ideal, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle on Washington center road and close to a handful of restaurants and stores for all your necessities.

Positive: The clean rooms have been newly remodeled and very friendly staff. Would for sure stay here again! Highly recommend! Negative: This is very picky, but I like my coffee, and they didn't have it available in lobby except for breakfast in the morning.

Absolutely do not stay here! Owner likes to claim everything is “new” but apparently has been saying that for years. Dirty showers, dirty walls, not even full pillows. Took forever for the bathroom light to even wanna turn on. When not even being there for 20 minutes we went to request a refund, we did end up getting a refund but had to deal with the owner getting hostile and defensive. We requested two beds and were repeatedly asked if one bed was okay, checked into the room and the bed was crammed in with 4 half pillows. Save your time and money. Worst experience ever.

Traveling as a solo female senior, I was a little concerned about the location, but it was great. EZ off n on the expressway, parking lot was clean, as was the lobby. The hotel itself is an older one, you park at your door , but inside has been remodeled very nicely and very clean. I have no hesitation to staying here again.

Avoid! I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value a good night's rest. This was my first time trying a Wyndham property, and it will be my last; I’ll be switching back to Choice Hotels going forward. The hotel is positioned directly at a highway interchange. Because both sides of the building face the road, there is no escape from the noise. I live in the country and am used to quiet, so this was unbearable. It wasn't just the roar of traffic; there was a persistent vibrational annoyance that made sleep impossible. I was beyond exhausted at my event the next day. When I complained to the management (a husband/wife duo), they were dismissive, telling me to just "turn on the heater or fan" to drown out the sound. I did a room change, but it didn't help.
