Days Inn by Wyndham Charlottesville/University Area

I stayed in a smoking room and if I hadn’t been told this was smoking room, I would not have known because when I walked in, it smelled clean like bleach. The room was absolutely amazing and I was thoroughly shocked! I thought that it was gonna be mediocre and I was completely wrong! I will definitely be booking here again.

We are back after staying here in October and this Days Inn property remains the best overnight with reasonable pricing, nice rooms and a decent continental breakfast to get you out the door and down the road. The location is in the center of everything Charlottesville, though the traffic on Rt. 29 (Emmet St.) can get a little crazy. Interesting that we got the same room (215) we had in October. Nice hotel staff.

Would call it a 'Budget Hotel' - Cozy rooms with small bathrooms. Might be tight if you're big. Complimentary Breakfast had Bagels, Bread, Waffles, Juices, Coffee but No Protein like sausages or eggs. Paid $90 for one night for a Non-smoking king-bed room.

For what it is, this hotel is five stars for me. The rooms seem recently renovated and well thought out. Quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is basic but fine. Check in and check out were easy and staff was nice. Location works if you're trying to go to UVA. For a basic place to sleep, this is a good find.
