Days Inn by Wyndham Charleston WV

We booked a room for first floor handicapped. Upon check in after my card was debited we found out the entire first floor was closed. We needed a cart and there was only one on the property that barely held anything. When we finally got into our room the bathroom had mold and mildew in the tub and the ceiling was falling in. I went To get in the bed. The sheets had not been changed since the last Guests. The covers were just pulled up. There were blood stains on the sheets. It was a horrible experience. We will never stay at a Days Inn again.

Okay, it's not horrible! Our room was updated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Just a couple minor things...the tub didn't drain great and there were a couple lightbulbs that needed to be replaced. A box of tissue and a blow dryer would be nice. Breakfast was average. The morning front desk clerk wasn't very friendly.

Positive: Concierge was courteous and helpful. Negative: No hot water for sink or shower. Shower had black mold around the seam line just above tub. Very dim light in bathroom. Woman in wheelchair was calling me to her (it was dark). Complimentary breakfast was out of a lot of items.

Very dirty. I am scared to touch anything in the bathroom. The room is also very stinky. It looks like it was never cleaned before. I feel very uncomfortable here.

Perfect for an overnight stay on the road. We got in late, check in was easy, room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had a little bit of a damp smell but was easily taken care of by putting the ac on. Easy to find, right off the highway exit. Cant beat the price. Close to gas stations and easy breakfast options.
