Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Flagler Center

The staff was very helpful. The room our son was staying in was having an issue with the door lock in which the key wasn't working. After multiple attempts to re-key the room, the front desk night clerk came and replaced the batteries in his lock so that we could access the room. The rooms were nice and didn't smell like dogs, which is always a concern in a pet friendly hotel. They do an amazing job of deodorizing the rooms after each guest.

We really appreciated the warm welcome from the receptionist. This was the one night stay on our road trip home. We liked everything about the hotel, including the pretty patio garden in the back. ||I prefer this hotel model where there is no free breakfast. I’m happy to save the money ( on a cheaper room) and buy my own breakfast. ||The room (320) here is very nicely decorated. It’s very welcoming. Very quiet. ||Just two quick comments. The toilet paper dispenser ( rusty and old) looks incongruous with the updated bath. ||The grout on the bathroom floor needs a deep clean. Other than that, everything looked good.

Positive: "" Negative: During our stay we received housekeeping services only once. When housekeeping did come on that one occasion, they only provided new linens. They didn't make the beds or tidy any other way that was observable. Also, the pool was dirty.

Fantastic stay for a wedding. Rooms are very updated and clean. I want to bring special attention to the entire staff of the hotel. Theresa was great in accommodating our group for a meal the first night a majority of us were there. Cody was fantastic in helping us at the time of the group meal, that i previously mentioned. Becky was also a delight to us on the night we came back from the wedding. The rest of the staff (bartenders and cleaning staff) were nothing but professional and helpful for anything we needed. I can't emphasize enough how entire staff's dedication made for a memorable weekend.

Staff is wonderful. Azalea at the breakfast bar was the best. Unfortunately the room left much to be desired. The hotel needs an upgrade. Poorly fitted sheets, dirty bathroom grout, furniture looked like it came from a second hand sale and was mismatched. Dogs are allowed but there should be a size limit.
