Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Butler Boulevard

I’m currently a guest here and it’s been dreadful. The service has been great and the hotel is clean. That’s normally all I care to read but, this has been a lesson. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. I’ve been here 3 days and I’ve only gotten 4hrs of sleep TOTAL. The pillows are flat and uncomfortable . The walls are paper thin. I can hear full conversations outside. I can hear the tv and someone on their phone next door. I’m absolutely exhausted and just want to sleep and I can’t because literally Everytime I fall asleep, someone slams their door. I’ve been startled out my sleep 4x in the past hour. I can’t wait to check out.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Butler Blvd, and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel staff was wonderful—everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really made a positive impression. That said, there are a few areas that could use some improvement. The gym is quite small and could use upgrades. There are only three treadmills, and during our stay one was out of order, which meant waiting for equipment to become available. It also would have been helpful to know at the time of booking that the parking lot was being repaved. With only one entrance and exit, it made getting in and out challenging—especially when driving a larger 4x4 truck, as we had to either drive onto the curb or over the orange cones to access the lot. The first room they gave me the lock didnt work on the front door. Thank goodness i checked. Not clean but I cleaned when I arrive. Sofa had stains. They moved me to another room due to door lock. The next room stunk. It had dusty, musty smelling, sheet had a whole in it, sofa had stains. I was unable to breathe in the room. I had to open the balcony door inorder to breathe. My company was closed so I couldnt be changed to another hotel. I called the front desk and told them I was having a hard time breathing in the room from the dirt etc. They upgraded me to a suite which was better I could breathe and the bedroom was in a separate area from the livingroom. I didnt turn on the AC in livingroom because I was afraid it would circulate dust from the massive curtains they have

Positive: Close to I95, very convenient if you are traveling through Florida on the highway. Hotel was very clean, quiet, and the rooms were nice. It is a pleasant place to stay. Negative: ""

My experience at this hotel has been extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was assigned a suite, but the door handle was broken, making the room unusable. I was moved to a regular room, which was a clear downgrade, without any price adjustment or compensation. The breakfast situation is also misleading. The website advertises: • $10 grab-and-go • $15 breakfast options This is not accurate. There is no hotel breakfast at all—only a Starbucks, where everything is overpriced. To make matters worse, while the hotel offers complimentary coffee at night, the free coffee is removed once Starbucks opens, clearly to force guests to purchase coffee there. The worst part of the experience was the interaction with the front desk. When I asked about the coffee situation, the front desk agent res
