Courtyard by Marriott Greenville-Spartanburg Airport

My stay here was comfortable. The staff and cleaning crew go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. However, the room is very dated and the furniture was falling apart. It offers free parking and is within walking distance to Walgreens and restaurants.

Surprisingly good Bistro food, no big dishes like steaks, but the Bistro burger tasted really high quality and good with added optional add-ons! The French fries tasted great too! Coffee lattes are Starbucks, tasted also great! Room is clean and quiet! People are all very nice!

I have stayed at Courtyard by Marriott many times. This one near GSP Airport is clean and well maintained. The food selection is limited by I enjoyed my dinner and breakfast. You order at the bar and they bring it out. The only issue is that they don't enforce a quiet time between say 10 PM and 6 AM. There was a lot of noise in the hall until almost midnight. The walls are thin so if you don't have courteous neighbors it can be tough to sleep.

The stay was just ok for us. While the staff was friendly the rooms need some help. We started in a King room with a sleeper sofa. Upon opening the sleeper sofa for our son to sleep on we discovered a very large pee stain on it. We have traveled for many years and I am one who normally lets certain things go and just deal. This however I could not. I called the front desk and asked for the mattress to be swapped out. I was told that they would call back. After about 30 minutes they called and said that they weren’t sure if they could find one to swap out but they could switch us to a double queen room and that the new room was cheaper. We decided to do that. The new room was okay but the air conditioner barely kept the room cool and the door covering the refrigerator pretty much fell off

As a Gold Elite member, I prefer Marriott properties, but this was a bit of a letdown. The welcome was excellent, and we were looking forward to spending a couple of hours in the room before heading to the airport the next day. The first fail was the lighting in the room. With all of the lights on, it was difficult to look into our suitcases even. The air conditioner made a lot of noise when cranking up. The toilet ran all night. We had reserved a room with a balcony. It did in fact have a balcony— about 24 inches deep. Even so, I looked for seating on it, but of course there was none. We formerly stayed at the Fairfield Inn near the Greenville airport, but we were quite disappointed the last time we stayed there, and the cost of the room was about the same as the Courtyard, so we decided
