Courtyard by Marriott Baltimore BWI Airport

Usually stay at the Fairfield next door as a loyal Marriott customer, but this hotel has the dates needed. The rooms need a refresh but were comfortable. I don't appreciate the Bistro and a charge for parking when the many hotels nearby do not.

I stayed here for Valentine’s Day and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room had visible mold and mildew in the shower, water damage on the ceiling, and stains on the bedding. It did not feel clean or properly maintained at all. When I brought these issues to management’s attention, instead of resolving the problem professionally, the police were called. This made an already uncomfortable situation even worse. We were told we would receive a refund, but no refund was ever issued. For a special occasion, this was extremely disappointing. The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and failure to honor what we were told is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here.

Mistakes can happen anywhere, whether it’s Marriott or any other hotel. What truly defines professionalism is how those situations are handled. During my recent stay in Baltimore, the Marriott staff and management demonstrated exactly that level of professionalism. Every concern was addressed with care, respect, and urgency, and the hotel manager’s response was thoughtful, accountable, and genuinely guest-focused. The way the team handled and resolved the situation reflected strong leadership and a true commitment to service excellence. Because of how well everything was managed, I would confidently stay here again and recommend this property to others.

Not a four star Marriott (needs updating) although clean and well maintained for a short stay. I recently met Chef Millicent who went above and beyond, true to the Marriott brand. She ensured that housekeeping cleaned the microwave before use and offered an alternative while I waited to heat my dinner. It’s this type of service that makes Marriott hotel my choice for business or personal travel. Well done Chef! Brava!

I will start with the good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Now the not so good. We chose this hotel specifically because they advertised, on the website, that there was a pool, hot tub, free breakfast, and coffee in the lobby. We were visiting our grandkids, and wanted the pool so we could bring them to swim. Well, weren't we suprised when we were told that both the pool and hot tub were closed permanetly, and the clerk even mentioned that they knew it was still advertised as having them on the website. When we asked about the free breakfast, we were told if we wanted breakfast, that was an additional fee, again, some false advertising going on. When my husband went to the lobby the next morning to get some coffee, well no surprise, there was none, just a plastic jug
