Wish I could give zero stars for the absolutely worst customer service I’ve ever received. Want to start out by saying that the front desk worker Christina was lovely and very kind. The general manager Josie is 100% trash, unprofessional, entitled and a liar to boot. I had a horrible check in experience at this hotel and when I called to speak with someone looking for some clarification I was greeted on the phone with an overly entitled human who believes she can treat others poorly because of her general manager title. I asked if I could speak with her boss or a regional manager to fix the problem and she said she was the highest position and NO ONE is above her. It's just ok. We won't go back. When you walk into a hotel and are surprised by a 200 dollar deposit because they are afraid you want to steal... we aren't thieves. Then everywhere you walk going to your room there are signs telling you their rules. Be quiet. No noise after 10. That seems fair but we had kids and a toddler is going to cry sometimes. Then when we get into the room there is a sign with all the charges of everything in the room. If the towels get dirty... or the washcloths... if something is taken. Like... who in the world wants an ironing board... 75 dollars by the way... so we were afraid to even take a shower. Went to the store and bought our own towels and soap. Stressful is the best description for this place. Breakfast was bland powdered eggs... sausage that tasted off.

When I arrived they informed me that I had to give them a $100 cash deposit to stay there that would be given back the next day. I didn’t have $100 cash on me because I didn’t know. She called the manager and he allowed her to do a $100 hold on my credit card instead. The room was ok. The air vents had a lot of dust build up on them. The check out process took a long time because she had to go inspect my room before taking the $100 hold off of my card. They must get a lot of bad customers at this hotel. Plus the room smelled weird like moldy or something. We stay a lot in JAX before my son’s early morning hockey games. We won’t stay here again. The employees were professional and polite so that is one good thing.

Worst Hotel Experience of my life!!!!! Arrived at Country Inn on 1/22 around midnight. Tired and just needing to rest before getting back on the road. When I walked in I was greeted by a very nice front desk employee and I asked if they were pet friendly and if they had any rooms available. She told me that they are and do have an available room. If they had told me otherwise at the beginning that would have been no issue and I would’ve just went to the pet friendly hotel 5 minutes down the road. Just to be clear I have ZERO issues with hotel policy and if they aren’t pet friendly that’s fine I can move on to somewhere that is but I was assured multiple times that they were. My husband delivers me our crying, tired toddler and begins unloading the car and getting our senior dog situated.
