Comfort Suites Jacksonville Airport

My last hotel stay on my @TravelingDoulaNCS road trip from New England to FL. Hotel staff were very friendly. Room and bed were comfortable. Shower temp, water pressure, and drainage excellent. Full breakfast options were plentiful. However, the reason for giving 4 stars was as soon as I walked inside the lobby from the breezy, balmy outdoors, it felt like I walked into a muggy, hot sauna and unfortunately the elevator and hallways were the same temperature. I immediately turned the AC on in my room and stayed very comfortable as long as I was in my room. I was astonished that the temperature hadn't changed in the hallways, elevator, or downstairs breakfast area/lobby the following morning. Stayed a while back (over 1 years ago) and meant to leave a review...just getting to it now. We just stayed one night and flew out the next day. It was great. The room had plenty of space to spread out and was very comfortable. It was close enough to the airport, but also close enough to restaurants. The front desk was accommodating and it was so relaxing I had wished we were vacationing right there at the hotel.

The hotel was clean but care was not taken in my opinion for the room I stayed in. I got an accessable room. There was no wash cloths in the bathroom. No bath mat after you got out of the shower. The room was dark and dreary. The hotel was comfortable but it needs a total refresh to brighten up the room and they need to use a higher wattage for their lamps. Especially for single (female s) people traveling alone.

First glance hotel looks super clean in a quiet spot just off the intersection. Staff was nice greeted me warmly. The room was clean welcoming and perfect. I would stay here again.

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and their park and fly option. It’s also close to a number of restaurants.||I worried about the noise but our room was surprisingly quiet. It was also very clean and the shower had good water pressure. The couch and the bed were comfortable and we both had a good night’s sleep. Pillows are small but they worked. ||I had reason to call the hotel several times and I was always treated professionally and got answers to my questions. This was really helpful when the airport closed due to the weather. The young man working the desk when we arrived was very personable and helpful as well. ||Our shuttles to and from the airport were timely and the drivers were delightful.
