Comfort Suites Innsbrook - Short Pump

Entire 4th floor smelled like an ashtray. Many room doors were open with blue tape covering the door knob latches. Room smelled like urine. First time ive actually felt dirtier after taking a shower. Bathroom floor has urine stains. Sink has hairs in it. Shower had even more hair in it. Only one towel in the bathroom that didnt smell like the room, and it still wasn't fresh. Ants on the nightstand and desk. Will never stay here again, nor will any of the employees of the company I work for.

I recently had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life during my stay at the Comfort Inn in Innsbrook. From the moment I walked into Room 221, it was clear that this property is not being properly maintained or cleaned, and the issues only got worse the longer I stayed. First and most disturbing, the room had roaches. I found roaches in multiple areas of the room, including inside the refrigerator, which was absolutely unacceptable and shocking. The refrigerator also made a loud knocking sound throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. For a hotel brand that advertises comfort, this was the complete opposite. Upon checking in, we encountered multiple issues with our rooms. The first room had a strong odor reminiscent of a wet dog. We returned to the front desk and were assigned a second room, which unfortunately reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the hotel’s smoke-free policy. After this, we requested yet another room and received one with two double beds instead of the king suite we initially booked. This room was also not ideal, as half of the couch was missing, and a loud dog was on the adjacent side, creating a disruptive atmosphere.Finally, we were given a fourth room, which was better in cleanliness and had no noticeable odors, though it could still benefit from a thorough cleaning. However, we discovered that it only provided two towels. When we requested additional towels, we found that

Check in is at 3pm. I arrived to the hotel a little after 3. I was told the room wasn't ready, that it would be 15-20 minutes. I checked in 2x total for updates, it wasn't till 5 that I was told it was ready. I get to the room and the door is open, propped open by the door latch. I booked a king bed, there were 2 beds in the room. When I went to the front desk I was told I was booked for 2 beds. I showed my receipt for 1 king bed. There were no towels in the room. The check in experience wasn't the best. Other than thr towels, the room was fine. It was clean. It didn't stink.

I’m rating this property one star only because there isn’t an option for negative stars. The non‑smoking room smelled strongly of smoke, the paint was chipped, the TV didn’t work, and the toilet overflowed. Shortly after check‑in, I requested a different room due to the smoke odor and the TV issue. The clerk explained how to fix the TV—a process that was far from intuitive—and told me that, unfortunately, “all the rooms smell that way.” When the toilet overflowed, I checked out and moved next door to the Hilton Garden Inn, where I had a much more comfortable stay for the same price. I cannot recommend this property.
