Comfort Suites At Virginia Center Commons

When we checked in, the one lady was on the phone & computer. She didn’t greet me just said wait a moment. Kept me waiting a few minutes. When she got off the phone & finished withe the vomputrr, she then called over another woman who was chewing food to check me in. That woman continued eating through out the process, even while telling me about where to find my room & breakfast. I had her repeat herself several times since it was hard to understand her while she chewed Then the elevator & hallway reeked of marijuana. There was ketchup spilled in the safe so we couldn’t use it. I reported it 4 times but no one responded. We had dirty washcloths left in the shower behind the shower door & asked that the room be cleaned. We spent an entire day waiting for the room to be cleaned before w

Positive: Location Negative: Skeleton staff, no sheets for pull out, threatened by a guest expected to be notified when police got there but we were scared until the morning and were pacified saying the police came and it was just a guest staying the night and we were fine.

Do not stay here! We stayed there this past weekend for a volleyball tournament at the event center across the street, as did our whole team and many other players and their families. The lobby floors were dirty with mud tracked everywhere. It was dark and musty smelling. Our room was filthy! There was food all over the floor from the previous people. I went downstairs and asked if they could vacuum and they gave ME the vacuum!!!! I literally wheeled that disgusting vacuum through the hotel up the elevator and vacuumed our own room and the hallway as there was dirt and stuff all out there as well. The countertops had not been wiped down, thank goodness I had Lysol wipes with me, which I wiped everything down. The bathroom floor and walls had stains and "splatter" that had not been cleaned.

Stayed there for a volleyball tournament. Saturday night girls from the team were in the lobby playing board games and parents were having some drinks and talking. Lady working the front desk started turning off the lights on us at 9:15 then came over to us and told us quiet time is 9:30 on a SATURDAY then said we can take it to our room. Mind you the pool hours go to 10 but she was turning lights off at 9:15. Told us we couldn't stay there any longer but could take it back to one of our rooms. Wouldn't that be worst for the guest if we're supposedly loud. Same lady also asked one of the moms on our team if she could watch the front desk for a while why she went to go do something. I was very unimpressed with my room. I boomed king suite. My bathroom had cracked tile that I had to put a towel down so my kid didn't slice her foot. Water damage. The pool area had no towels, front office said "they forgot to wash pool towels they're in the dryer now it'll be 20 - 30m wait. Hot tub is missing a few tiles. Dirty pool towels left all over pool area from guests. I stayed prior and the room I had prior was a bit nicer. I'm a choice member but won't book here again.
