Candlewood Suites Atlanta - Kennesaw by IHG

Location is good, right next to interstate and several eating and shopping establishments close by. Place seemed clean, did not have any odd odors to speak of. Lady checking you in seemed pleasant. Only downside is they will only clean room once a week, if u stay that long. If you need extra towels, cause they only give you 2, you need to go down or call the front desk. They should clean at least every third day. The water pressure wasn't great, but at least it was semi hot water. If your room is on the interstate side, you will hear alit of that noise.

We could not have had a worse experience. There were never clean towels available. The water in shower was cold. The ice maker in our room didn’t work. The freezer wouldn’t keep our groceries frozen. The freezer was leaking into the fridge and all over the floor. The dishwasher was not mounted and fell out when opened. One elevator broke. It was supposed to be a walk in shower but was a tub instead. I reached out to management multiple times with no response.

We stayed overnight in our way to Florida. The hotel was a little hard to find, but we eventually did (didn't help that there was a monsoon going on at the time!). The room was very spacious, clean, and pleasant. We were traveling with our 2 dogs, and everything went very smoothly. Only complaint i have is the noise from the Interstate; i could hear the traffic all night, but, to be fair, the hotel did supply disposable ear plugs. I would stay again.

You have to bring your dirty towels and rags down to the front desk to get more. The short girl was very very rude. Gave us a bag with disgust and told us to put our stuff in because she didn't want to touch it. We didn't want to carry wet towels and rags all through the hotel. We had 2 towel 2 rags for 2 grown co-worker men. Everyday you have to come down. They don't clean rooms at all. Our company has been coming down Mon-Fri. For the last 6 weeks. It's a lot of money spent. To get treated like garbage. Hospitality LMAO. Not here

The actual location is 500 feet further up the road than Google Maps indicates. There is a small, unlit sign pointing to the new Candlewood Suites at the back of the "Hotel Row". The room was clean, and I had a great view of the parking lot and my vehicle (this was a plus). The manager, Veronica was a delight! She recommended great places to eat in the "new" Marietta, and was super helpful while I visited.
