California Inn & Suites Rancho Cordova - Sacramento

Positive: They found a room on the first floor when they learned my wife could not walk up stairs. The shower was good. The price was good. Negative: The TV did not work. The room was far from pretty. The ice machine only worked part of the time. The internet only worked part of the time. The deadbolt lock did not work.

DON'T STAY HERE I STAYED HERE ONCE WHEN IT WAS A RED ROOF INN ,IF I KNEW THIS WAS THE SAME PROPERTY I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED IT. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER LEFT A REVIEW FOR A HOTEL.WISH I HAD TAKEN PICS OF THE FIRST ROOM ,BUT IT SLIPPED MY MIND BECAUSE I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I WAS LOOKING AT .LEAVING MY GF IN THAT ROOM FOR A HOUR SHE HAD NOTHING WITH HER SHE WAS GOING TO SHOWER WHILE I WAS GONE BUT COULDN'T EVEN DO THAT.I EVEN HAD HER PHONE TO MAKE IT WORSE. YES I AM UPSET 3 1/2 STARS ????? Horrible! - Stained (or dirty) towels - We had 3 large cockroach - Dead roaches along the hotel walkway/breezeway - Smoke alarm was missing with wires exposed and hanging - flickering bathroom light - we informed the front desk and it was never fixed - thermostat on wall says it's for heater although there wasn't a heater unit. - Air cooler would not turn off - the bathroom looks as if they were in the middle of a remodel but stopped. - USB and outlet on one of the night stands did not work - no microwave, we had to ask the office to bring one but they insisted that one was already in here - the sink and shower dripped all night making it hard to sleep because of the sound - amenities listed housekeeping (daily when we returned bed was not done, no clean towels provided, garba

This hotel is indescribably bad. My room has no door separating the bathroom from the main area, and I found a cockroach in the shower. The air conditioning is broken, and worst of all, the receptionist openly mocked the difference between my ID photo and my current weight. If this hotel employs staff who literally make fun of guests because of their weight, what can one possibly expect?
