Customer Reviews
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were porta-potties which needed to be emptied more often. We were there over a holiday weekend and both of them became pretty gross due to fullness. They were at least very clean with antibacterial gel installed which was VERY nice. I deducted one star because the camp sites are pretty “work in progress” our camp site was a little raised part of ground just barely big enough to put our tent on which made it very close to the campfire pit. Then it sloped down into the woods. They are actively digging and installing new walk in camp spots so I’m hoping our beautiful spot we had will have just a bit more flat ground filled in with the wood chips they are spreading in the future to be more safe. There were several spots in the campground
This commercial camping site is operating illegally. It is surrounded by private residences, and the property lines are not clearly demarcated, let alone fenced. If you choose to stay here, note that it is not permitted for this type of land use, there is no cell service, (as such the Hipcamp point-of-contact can be hard to reach) and that trespassers will be prosecuted. As another reviewer mentioned, stay at your own risk. 0/5 stars
The property is up FOR SALE. A dumpy trailer awaits your entrance at each of 2 driveways. The house is EMPTY. Thru the front door the kitchen formica is "Weather beaten Sun Stained MOLD. The living room has half 1050's blown on cottage cheese and the rest is bare sheet rock. Do you trust these people for a safe and clean camping environment? GOOD LUCK.
Had a great time camping here with my wife and 2 dogs for a week. Even when the campground was full it was pretty quite and the spots still provided ample privacy. It is a beautiful location set deep in the redwoods. You will not regret your stay.
No access to coast, shopping or restaurant. Isolated. What a joke.
