Baymont by Wyndham Smithfield

First off, this place was very disgusting. My 1st concern is SAFETY…… this place is NOT SAFE to live here at all … I advise people to RUN…RUN….RUN & don’t ever stay here at the Baymont hotel in Smithfield. POLICE RAIDED the entire hotel doing an DRUG BUST and residents was ask to leave their rooms. If you have small kids, an elderly person or any person that loves your LIFE…. DONT GO HERE….please pick another hotel…I have provided PICTURES & VIDEOS for PROOF…..look below👀👀👀⬇️⬇️⬇️ The manager name here is KELLY & she does not care about her residents safety at all. Seem to me and other residents I’ve talk to quite a bit we all feel the the manager Kelly is a money hungry person. Not only was my room nice but the service is the best I've had recently. Robin at the front desk is the sweetest person❣️ Thank you so much Robin for making us feel at home.

We booked this hotel for a couple of nights while between housing. For the price, I was more impressed with the quality of customer service here than at most marriotts I typically stay at. The general manager is very warm and clearly a customer experience pro. We were so happy with the level of service and cleanliness for the proce we continued adding nights as needed and observed an interaction with another guest that could have easily resulted in an escalation but the solution provided by the staff was nothing less than warm southern hospitality. I'm honestly surprised at some of the bad reviews I've seen as this was not our experience at all. For the price AND breakfast included, which isn't super common post covid, I don't see how you can go wrong. I would look forward to staying here

TThe staff is incredibly welcoming and kind. They create such a warm atmosphere at night. I didn't experience any disruptions in my room whatsoever. Kelly and Angela are my favorites.

Positive: The staff Negative: The door had a gap and cold air came through. My friend sleeping in bed closest to door just about froze.
