Holiday Inn Express & Suites Smithfield - Selma I-95 by IHG

I stayed here while in town visiting family. The hotel is located near everything. The amenities are very decent. The breakfast had just about everything. The fitness room worked out as well as the business center. I didn't use the pool, but it looked inviting. The room was clean and also the common areas. My room had all the things that I needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in the area.

This was supposed to be my anniversary weekend that ended up being a nightmare ! We had booked Friday-Sunday, my 2 yr old daughter stayed Friday with us....the phone in the room didn't work.There is no WiFi connection to the tv so we couldn't watch anything but regular cable tv. Our toilet handle was broke so we could flush the toilet unless we lifted the back up. Their mirror light was half working.oh it gets better! Friday night we were woken up at 2:30 am over a "false alarm" fire alarm that the entire hotel had to evacuate for. Between the alarms and my daughter screaming it triggered me having a panic attack that caused me to call the EMS. I didnt get back to sleep until 5:30 in the morning and they will not refund me for 1 of the nights. They then said we had complaints of THC comin

Had a quick stay mid road trip. Excellent room, space and amenities. The room was perfect to accommodate our 3 adults and one child with space to spread out. During our short stay we used the heated indoor pool, and breakfast. The pool was great for getting a kid who had been sitting in the car for several hours tired for bed. Only challenge was getting hot water for an evening bath. Breakfast the next morning was easy and had options for everyone. Would recommend this location.

Ice at the entrance that had not been cleared 30+ hours after the storm. Apparently management doesn’t care if you slip and fall entering or exiting their hotel. Very disappointing. On the positive Debra offers a 5 star breakfast and hotel was very clean as we have found in all Holiday Inn Express hotels.

I came here for the weekend for a conference. VERY impressed. The room was clean and had nice Dove brand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. I can’t say enough about the bed. Comfortable!! Breakfast was a full breakfast. Not continental. Pancake machine, danish, muffins, eggs, omelettes, bacon, sausage, all kinds of bread, bagels, etc to toast. Juices, yogurts. Really well stocked. Very reasonable rate. All employees that I encountered were friendly and helpful.
