Baymont by Wyndham Kennesaw

This hotel needs a lot of TLC. A lot of stuff does not work (water fountain, etc.), and two of our guests in our group found bed bugs in their rooms. It is not very clean, but it was decently affordable…except maybe not if we all end up dealing with an infestation. It was a place to rest our heads, but that’s really it. The front desk staff are nice. Would not be staying here again for any reason.

On Friday 12/12/2025, there was a domestic situation in the room next to mine. I wasn't able to enjoy my last night stay. The police was called out and handled the situation. The whole experience made me feel unsafe.

Positive: I liked how the room had separate spaces between the sitting area and the bedroom area. I liked the location of where it was. Negative: The room was filthy, the floors, the bathtub, the walls, the doors, and the sofa bed having bread crumbs, hair and fuzz all in it, along with it being stuck until my husband flipped the couch over to get it unstuck.

Yep my room was dirty too. Makes me wonder where Wyndham's self-respect went. Not only was it dirty but the furniture was stained, the hair dryer didn't work and I had to call down to the front desk on my cell phone to find out that I had to put the shower on cold to get it to go hot. Also If you stay on the front side upstairs, you'll have to contend with the flood light shining into the room with curtains that don't close all the way. fortunately I had some hair clips I used to keep them closed through the night. the upside was the bed was indeed comfortable and seemed clean and fresh. But overall this place should have been dirt cheap but wasn't.

Please do not stay here. This hotel is falling apart. You deserve better! There is mold, the doors on some of the rooms don’t close all the way, the bathrooms are filthy, the microwaves and fridges were disgusting. The photos attached are across 3 separate rooms. To say we checked out asap - under 12 hours - is an understatement. I would have left immediately if it wasn’t 10pm. The hotel’s GM is a joke - literally. She fought me on even a partial refund at first and tried to offer me a 5000 point credit. Then she proceeded to attempt to charge my card ~$3500 across 8 separate transactions. No one ever apologized.
