Baymont by Wyndham Jacksonville Orange Park

My stay at Baymont by Wyndham Jacksonville Orange Park was pleasant overall. The location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and stores, which made grabbing essentials simple and stress-free. The room was comfortable and served its purpose well for a short stay. There were a couple of maintenance issues that should be addressed, including a bathroom fan that wasn’t working and was hanging from the ceiling, along with a few small flying critters coming from the bathroom sink area. It’s not a 5-star hotel, but for the price and convenience, the stay was decent and manageable

Family and I came here from D.C for a family members wedding. Wyndham booked this location for us and we booked 4 months in advance. All we did was pull into the parking lot and immediately knew it wasn’t a good or safe location. People clearly on drugs hanging out in the parking lot, bullet holes in nearby fences, the pool was brown and dirty, and all the rooms had broken blinds that could be seen from the parking lot. We did research upon arrival after what we saw and reviews stated the place had roaches. We immediately left and went elsewhere. It wasn’t worth the effort or the benefit of the doubt. We were shocked because this location had a fair amount of good comments despite clearly being dilapidated. But we now believe other better Baymont location’s reviews are being input to give

Positive: During late check in the staff was very respectful and nice. Negative: Staff on Friday morning and checkout very RUDE!!! The rooms smell molded and wet and bathroom fixtures is loose. Hairs in tub. What the bed sit on a stand had trash around the mattress. This is not a 2.5 star hotel!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED

from Tennesse my family and I was in Jacksonville Florida for my son's graduation. I got Wyndham to make my reservations because they did such a good job on my last trip. This time was horrible. Roaches coming out of the air conditioner, out of the Tv box, got ready to let the couch out and roaches was running everywhere. The receptionist got us two rooms for that one room. He let us look at the rooms before we excepted the rooms. When we took our things in the rooms roaches start running out. We wanted to leave but it would have been hard to find another place because it was now 4:30am. I call the receptionist and told him we was not going to stay another night we did even take a shower there. I was scared to go to sleep ants was coming out of the air conditioner. DON'T DO IT! it is never worth saving a few pounds at the price of peace of mind. that's the short version. We arrived around 3.30pm. Unusually as we arrived a huge sign stating that under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is the hotel liable for any damage caused to cars parked in there parking lot. Every hotel has this, usually on a small sign at the reception desk. it soon became apparent why this sign was there. We arrived and thought we would be a room similar the the first picture below. The one on the website we booked from. We were very shocked to be shown a room painted dark blue, dark, dingy, dirty, Tiny bed. Asked to change room and an extra charge of $10 was paid to do so.
