Very nice place to stay and women ran business. The only thing that was an issue was the jacuzzi tub. Online it advertised a working jacuzzi but when we got to the room, the jets did not work. I messaged the owner/worker about it, they seemed more interested in covering it up by saying it’s only a soaking tub and saying there’s not a jacuzzi in the room instead of just simply saying there was a mistake, the website should state the Jacuzzi isn’t working because that’s really what I was looking forward to having in the room.
Stayed for a couple nights, room was small but perfect for a couple or a confident solo traveler. Check in was easy and the room was clean and comfortable feeling 😌 loved the jacuzzi!! I would absolutely stay here again. It's within walking distance of many things in bayfield
The Bayfield Guest House is pleasant enough. The rooms are comfortable, we had a HUGE tub, and the coffee they provide for the rooms is great. I have one large complaint that soured the whole experience for me. You are required to wash your own dishes before you or they will charge you $35. $35 for washing, at most, a coffee pot, 2 coffee cups, and/or 2 water glasses. But here's the real rub -- how well did the guests before us wash the dishes? Did they use dish soap or just rinse them off? How sanitary of a job did the previous guests do? Does the Bayfield Guest House wash them with soap after to ensure that they are clean? If not, that's gross and likely a healthcode violation. If they do, then why require us to do it?!
The room was very clean & very nice. We were there for 4 nights, & it was simply too small for such a long stay.. There is nowhere to put anything . It has 2 small windows & a window air conditioner. We saw no one during our stay. We had two towels each for 4 days. It would be fine for a day or 2. The location is perfect. It is very quiet.
We stayed Sept 30th-October 2nd, the room was super clean and nicely set up. They provided almost everything we needed for our first time staying in Bayfield. Nicely set up booklets for things todo and places to eat. The jacuzzi is amazing! This was everything we needed for our stay in wisconsin! Super easy access to the building and our room as well! Such a cute place :)
