Staff was all welcoming. The rooms were very clean and room service was brought quicker than expected. The only downfall we found was if staying in the suites building you have to go outside and cross to the main building to use the pool. Not a big deal in warmer weather but when it's still cold out, it's freezing walking back wet. The pool is also supposed to be heated but was pretty cold.

Paper thin walls and very poor isolation means it’s just very loud and difficult to get any rest. Can hear doors slamming at all times. Just awful, how they could construct this hotel in such a way in this day and age is beyond me Only thing hotel get going for it is closeness to the beach. Will not be coming back

Positive: Location, water view Negative: A reason we went over-budget to stay here was a free shuttle to downtown Newport (on their website). We were frustrated to be told they stopped that years ago, but even more so because they didn’t apologize, or tell us there’s free public transit anyway..

The location of this hotel is good, few minutes away from the beach. As far as the room goes, the bed was so uncomfortable. I was finally able to fall asleep and was woken up by a crazy man in the hallway. He was yelling and cursing on the phone at 2 in the morning. If that was you in the hallway, please don’t ever do that again i couldn’t fall back asleep after that for another 3 hours because of you. The room was clean though, i appreciated the hardwood floors. Room had an odd smell but was bearable. Room service was excellent. Overall the hotel was okay. Pool looked nice but did not go in. Parking is insane at night. Had to drove around for 10 minutes waiting for someone to leave in order to park. Another lot is probably needed especially for the summer. My stay was in February. I booked 3 regular double rooms for our group in November through booking.com. It is not at the center of Newport, but it’s a 5 minute drive to the Newport Mansion and ample parking. Upon arrival, we were told they upgraded us to 3 suites- which was wonderful! We were not expecting that and very much appreciated it. The suites building is just beside the main building. There definitely was a lot of space for us- 2 King beds, microwave, small ref, a desk, big closet, drawers, smart tv. We had a view of the water. There are a few restaurants nearby. We only ate at the hotel’s affiliate restaurant- Tickets (food was good). Easton Beach is very close and be reached by foot. Cliff walk can also be access via Easton Beach (although a little far walk- but doable for seasoned walkers). We would d
