Anchor Lodge

My experience was less than comfortable. The place is run more like an air bnb not a hotel. Besides the fog horn going off every 30 seconds throughout the night, theres no a/c unit for the continuous noise. There is a silent wall heater that can either be on or off. The organization of the room doesn’t make a whole lot of sense and it was a bit dirty. The area is a little sketchy, even though you have the restaurant sort of in the parking lot. It closes early. There are several lodging options fairly close to this that feel much more safe and just look nicer in general. I brought several days worth of food that all perished in the broken refrigerator. There is no ice machine on the property. I reached out with my complaint and was completely ignored.

This may be the friendliest hotel staff I've ever met. Truly accommodating! They were truly a pleasure to talk to and consistently helpful with any situation. The harbor is a a truly fun place to stay. There is great food, a killer distillery, and beautiful views

It was a fun little trip. The room is accessible by a code, no on site service. We had room 12 which had a conjoined door. Two nice comfy beds and pillows, little kitchen area with microwave and small fridge, coffee maker. One window does not have a black out curtain so it was a little brighter in the morning but not to bad. You can hear your neighbors talking next door so privacy is limited but they have an in room wall fan that helps for any noise. Place is in the same partly g lot as the wharf restaurant which was cool plus other places to eat. Best part is you can hear the fog horn. Tv worked and the shower was hot, no bath. For what we paid I am happy and will return to relax and enjoy the sea

I love everything about this place! The rooms on the water are epic. The sea lions are swimming by, birds to watch and of course watching the boats come into the harbor is always fun. The staff is more accommodating and there is a wonderful restaurant right upstairs. I plan on staying here every time I visit Fort Bragg!

We chose this place along our road trip to view wild life and boat watch from our balcony overlooking the river/ marina. It was wonderful! The motel is older and has been bought out by the hotel on top of the hill, this is where you need to physically check in. Reception there was so welcoming and very helpful! Our room was very clean. Definitely recommend!
