Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Jackson, TN

Room was small but cozy and clean. No smell or evidence of bugs. Sheets and towels were clean. TV and wifi worked fine. Close to restaurants. Bathroom was clean but the plumbing was outdated and had a piece broken off of it, not the easiest shower. Continental breakfast was a joke; we were there by 7:00AM and all they had was bad coffee, kids cereal and toast with jelly. The front looked unkept and it looked like people were not cleaning up after their dogs on the grass area. All in all, it was a clean place for a good price.

First non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes was extremely dated and unkept. Was offered another room on upper level which happened to be dismally updated but equally unkept. Multiple strands of hair in the bed and make-up stains on pillow cases. Noticed a distinct odor in hallways & other common areas. To cup it all, the incessant road noise made it impossible to sleep. Honestly would have been better off sleeping in my car. Location appears to have had a recent low-budget renovation consisting of mostly paint and select fixtures. Unfortunately they failed to address the maze of large potholes in the parking lot which ought to have been a clear deterrent.

Pretty decent. Not that bad but did stick. Could have been a temporary thing but absolutely stank. Nothing a little fabreeze could not fix so we did get it smelling ok. But clean sheets and fast service and coffee was great

Positive: "" Negative: The bathroom door would not shut. Was sprung open. But this is one of the few reasonably priced hotels that will allow pets.

Business trip. Late night staff was very friendly and helpful. I met and had wonderful conversation with the owner Bobby. I will be patronizing his other Hotels in other cities where I also travel to. Rooms were clean. A good experience...
