Americas Best Value Inn Garland Dallas

I had a very uncomfortable stay here. Long-term guests were standing outside my room in very revealing clothing and smoking right by the doors, which made the atmosphere feel unpleasant and unsafe. There were also several people who did not appear to be registered guests sitting in parked cars with the engines running for long periods of time. It honestly felt intimidating. The condition of the bedding was unacceptable — there were cigarette burn holes and even stains that looked like blood on the sheets and pillows. That alone should not happen at any property. Surprisingly, the bathroom cleanliness was actually more tolerable compared to the bedding situation. I would not recommend staying here unless management makes serious improvements to safety and cleanliness.

The female receptionist was extremely rude. Her attitude was absolutely horrible. I booked a room online and when I got there she immediately came off extremely hostile and said that I would have to wait 30 minutes and even though I was polite despite her very poor demeanor she continued to go off on me and stated that she would not be allowing me to stay in the room that I had paid for. And although I was upset I just had to understand that at the end of the day whatever she was upset about had nothing to do with me and that she was only confused because she spoke very little English. So yea.

Positive: It’s cheap Negative: The shower curtain rod fell on me and the ac cover fell off. The door kept getting stuck and they wanted to blame me for the things that literally fell apart. Crappy attitude. Didn’t send anyone to fix anything and couldn’t even get clean towels

So much cleaner and quieter than it used to be.. new management made a huge difference . It's still a motel , but definitely no longer "the worst " in dallas.. recommended for long term or on a budget.. close to Walmart tons if restraunts gas stations and freeway.
