Aloft Richmond West Short Pump

Awesome location BUT the rooms are awful! Clean, yes, but the way they're designed is ridiculous! There's a glass wall between the shower and the bedroom and if someone uses the bathroom at night, the bedroom is so bright. You're guaranteed to wake up. Oh and you can hear every word from the people in the next room. And if you get a room close to the elevator, you'll be able to enjoy the ding dong sound every time someone presses the button. I will NOT be back!

i was a little concerned about the recent negative reviews, but I am happy to say that we had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean and quiet. Our room was really nice and very comfortable. they allowed us to bring our small dog without the typical exorbitant fee at other hotels. we loved the location as it was in the residential section of short pump and not in the middle of the mall like other hotels we stayed at. the middle of the mall are noisy and crowded, but the Aloft was much better for the money. we wil stay there again when in richmond

I will never stay at this location again! The standards of the hotel don’t match the area! The first room was not entirely clean, air conditioning was sub par, and the bathroom door would not close. We were able to get our room changed, which was better but not great. Currently hearing loud music blasting after 11p at night and no one is picking up at the front desk to be able to complain! And general manager, please don’t respond to this review with your generic response. Thank you

Believe ALL of the negative reviews about this place. I've stayed in European hostels nicer than this abomination. Marriott should not be tarnishing their brand with hotels like this. Excellent location. Shape of hotel is abysmal. Stay at your own risk.

Horrible experience. This property charged my card a higher price then what my invoice stated. I have asked for a receipt reflecting the price my card was charged. This has been an ongoing issue since DEC and I have yet to have the manager contact me after calling and trying to get this consolidated. All I wanted was a receipt that showed the actual invoice price. I would never again. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and book alot of trips. It should never be this hard to get this completed.
