Aloft Jacksonville Tapestry Park

Rooms are great. Clean, comfy. Looks almost brand new still. The AC unit makes a lot of noise tho, kept waking up all night. The room window also faces the highway so during on hours, you can hear so many cars. So not the best sleep I've had but bring ear plugs if you have difficulty sleeping with noise. Shower is walk in. Good pressure. Near many great restaurants. Free parking.

This hotel was awesome. From the check-in to the checkout. The front desk staff is very welcoming. As that we traveled with a group of about 20, this hotel and their staff were very accommodating as that we had a little party for our girls ages between 16-17 traveling for a sports event. Breakfast was very good and the chef makes it right there for you. Awesome. The travel coordinator was AWESOME to work with as that we had parents making last minute changes to their reservations due to changes in schedule. Top notch service. A BIG THANK YOU to you and your staff for making this trip a memorable one. We are already planning for next year to stay here again.

Just checked out after a two night stay. First morning was perfectly fine; 2nd wasn’t. The water temperature in the shower, sink, and even toilet was scalding hot. No matter what direction you turned the dials there water temperature remained hot, to the point I wasn’t even able to take a shower, it was that bad. I had an early flight so figured I would just shower when I got home. On the way out I mentioned the issue to the front desk guy [clearly an overnight worker just holding down the fort]. As soon as I mentioned a strange issue he responded with “the water temperature, yeah, we know about it. Been going on for 2 weeks now. Sometimes it’s burning hot, other times it’s perfectly fine. We can’t seem to figure it out”. So you knew about this and didn’t tell anyone? Holy cow!

We stayed recently with two dogs and loved it. The rooms are big and have lots of counter space for stuff. The beds were low, not those really high ones, and we got a ground floor room for easy access to the pet relief areas, which were good. We got a great rate on our stay, and we also got cooked to order breakfast that we had in our room and we got lunch to take on the road. There as a Keurig coffee maker in our room. Thank you so much for putting free hot coffee out in the lobby at 5:45 AM! My husband liked the fitness room too. I will always look for Aloft when traveling, especially with my little dogs.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Facilities are top notch. A very modern fell. The only issue I have is with the front desk staff. They always seem disinterested and frankly it feels like you are imposing when checking in. In my most recent stay the person at the check in desk was more interested in their phone than me. As a Marriott Titanium Elite there is no differentiation in the process. This is a great property, if management can work to create a more welcoming and people oriented environment it would be a perfect 10!
