AC Hotel Arlington National Landing

The location was good for being in front of the airport. The staff was so friendly and they will walk you to the elevator from the front desk to make sure you are all set. The vibe was great 😊 but the staff is what made it to have a great rating. The rooms are beautiful and renovated. I was there during the DC storm of January 2026 and the only thing is that the heater was not heating fast enough, but again it was 8 degrees outside. Everything was just lovely and amazing, the staff made it a 5 star for them.

I travel frequently for work and have been a Titanium member for years, staying at many properties—often transcontinental. While I’ve experienced good service in many places, I witnessed true hospitality at the AC Marriott.||On the morning of my departure, my car battery died. It was very early, and I needed to drive to North Carolina for work. I was sitting in the lobby trying to reach different roadside assistance companies when the manager—Muhammad, whose name I later noticed displayed on the wall—approached me with genuine concern and asked if everything was okay. After I explained the situation, he immediately arranged for someone to cover the desk, walked with me to the garage, brought his own car, and helped jump-start mine.||His kindness and willingness to help saved me an incredib

Positive: I like the convenience of the location. There are plenty of great food options in the area and the hotel is a short ride to DC for sight-seeing. Negative: When I checked in to hotel I was told that they could not apply my points to my Marriott Bonvoy membership. The room I was given smelled sweaty and when I asked for housekeeping to clean the room, they never came. The manager came that night and cleaned.

I saw a bad review that apparently was from a former, disgruntled employee so I was a little wary at first. From the minute I walked in the door to the minute I hopped on the airport shuttle to leave, however, my experience was just fine. The desk clerk was attentive and greeted me immediately. My room wasn't ready so they upgraded me to a better room that was ready. I found no maintenance issues and everything was very clean and fresh. The food offerings at dinner and breakfast were relatively limited but we're served swiftly and were tasty. The hotel is only a few minutes from the airport and with a metro station just a block away, all of Arlington and Washington DC were within a short ride away. I was in town to visit the Amazon offices which were about an easy 10 minute walk away.

Very unwelcoming environment. The service was poor from the time I walked in until the time that I left With the exception of the nice black lady Who was a server At the bar. The food menu was poor and had limited option, Nothing for Vegans. I couldn’t keep my heat on in my room because The HVAC unit made noise all night. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom. The cost of parking is ridiculous. There is a lot right around the corner. That’s free on the weekends
