Wyndham Hotel

I stayed at the Wyndham Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center from 2/13–2/15, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. After driving over 7 hours to get there, we were already exhausted. Upon arrival, valet asked if we were using valet or self-parking. We chose self-parking, and instead of allowing us to briefly unload our luggage at the front entrance, we were directed straight to the garage with no assistance. There was no courtesy or accommodation offered. Check-in was also disappointing. We were given our room key with no directions or assistance and had to find our room on our own, which took about 10 minutes. The parking situation only got worse. My family and I had a great experience at Wyndham! The rooms are newly updated and modern. The River Club Restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and was a delicious and convenient option for breakfast.||We were very impressed with the helpful and kind staff that we interacted with, especially in their interaction with our 4- and 6- year olds.||The location in the heart of downtown Rochester is ideal, and a great walking distance from Peach Blossom Mexican Restaurant, and Squatcho’s. The River Walk directly behind the hotel is gorgeous! I would highly recommend staying at Wyndham.

We were lied to by a Wyndham Hotel in Florida. We reserved a room that they claimed to be accessible. However, it was not! My husband is wheelchair-bound. There were no bars to assist in the toilet area. There was no roll-in shower. No lowered sink, etc. It was not ADA-approved! Cruise ships that sail from Florida are ADA-approved. Why do hotels not hold to the same standards and lie about being handicapped accessible and Florida governance does not care? I wrote to the governor’s office and I received a reply stating they do not care, though not in that exact wording. It is ok to lie to customers. "Handicapped accessible rooms (ADA rooms) are designed for guests with disabilities, featuring wider doorways (minimum 32"), roll-in showers or grab bars, lowered sinks, toilets, light switches

The hotel's elevators were not functioning. The front desk staff was not helpful. The room was run down, and the thermostat didn't work. The staff said they would have someone fix it, but they never did, and I was told there were no additional blankets for the bed. (temp never came above 62 degrees farenheit).Also, I ended up in a 'Handicapped Accessible' room even though I did not request one, and they insisted I had asked for one. Even if I were someone needing a wheelchair, this room would not have actually been accessible. The room was arranged for wider rolling, and the bathroom sink was roll-under, but the shower was a regular bathtub with sides. If I could have rated this place a -5 I would have. I attended a large gathering there this weekend ( 3/6/26 - 3/8/26) and it was a giant cluster bomb. I’m going to save you time. Don’t go here. They don’t even have staff. Half of the short staff they had quit on 3/6. And we had well over 500 people there’d. Horrible horrible horrible.!!!
