Hotel on Monroe, BW Signature Collection

Great experience at the Hotel on Monroe. Arrived with my dad for a one night stay; was impressed enough to book a second night (which was a breeze). Owner Silas was incredibly kind and accommodating… the whole place was smartly and beautifully refurbished/upgraded… beds were comfortable, toilet seat was heated… great overall value… you can park right outside your room… easy access to Brighton and downtown Rochester… great cafe right next door… what more could you ask for?

Positive: Cool historic building, excellent location, easy check in, cool rooms. Negative: Bedding and towels were old and had some staining.

Room was quaint. Clean and updated. Dealt with the owner and he was very personable and accommodating especially since we got in late in the evening and decided to stay the one night instead of 2. He adjusted the price accordingly and was very fair! Stayed because of its proximity to Nazareth University. No continental breakfast offered, however cafe 10 ft away with delicious coffee, pastries and sandwiches and Wegmens and other fast food options 2 min away ! Highly recommend

We will definitely return! If you are looking for a clean, safe, comfortable, pet friendly place to stay, this is it. It’s not fancy, but had everything we needed. Our previous experiences at other pet friendly hotels were not great. This was a wonderful surprise. The owner was friendly and welcoming. We definitely recommend it, especially if you are traveling with a pet

I travelled to Rochester, NY this past month for youth hockey for my son and I had a great stay at Hotel on Monroe. The staff was friendly and professional, check-in was very efficient, and the room was spotless and well-appointed. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I’d definitely stay here again.
