The Inn On Broadway

I have to say the Inn on Broadway was an excellent stay. I booked the King Luxury room/suite I did not use the jacuzzi whirlpool features just used it as a soaking tub and that was relaxing. The rooms were indulgent without feeling like a museum or a minimalist nightmare; Spacious and well thought out. The service from staff was excellent and conscientious. The comfortability of the bed was top tier. The only drawback for me was the food. Room service is ordered through Gio’s Prime 26 steakhouse - I have hear great things unfortunate my experience was less than stellar. My food had an awful smell that was reminiscent of fish - I don’t eat fish or seafood and that was off putting. I tasted everything I ordered. There is a lot of potential here, but they need a new manager who knows how to master the fundamentals of hotel management. The pros: (1) the architecture and room design are much more interesting than more modern hotels and give it a lot of character, (2) the staff were generally friendly if a little frazzled, and (3) the location is nice if going to the arena or other downtown events. The cons: (1) we received a text and an email warning us there would be no elevator available during our stay, with a request that we reach out if that would be a problem. Multiple replies through text and email asking which floor we were likely to be on were ignored. We had a nice room on the 3rd floor, which was fine. Me and my friend rent a room out for the weekend and we had the best experience! The rooms were clean. The showers were clean. Comfy beds, Very polite staff, Most important part is we felt safe and not worried about anything! We will be back I definitely recommend this beautiful hotel. The price was not bad at all!

I like the lobby close to Eastman School of music  pretty good location  and has hot water very luxurious and yummy Japanese restaurant nearby and some light snacks for free come get your money worth but no breakfast sadly 

Stayed here a couple nights and very much enjoyed our visit despite the snow and extremely cold temperatures outside. Staff were the responsible types, quick to fulfill our requests and answer our questions. We discovered the south entry on our second day. This is the ADA accessible entry that includes a chairlift to the lobby level, an excellent modification for the present day, easy to use and most welcome! Some room furnishings were more decorative rather than useful but we made it work. Water pressure was fantastic but a little noisy when switching to a shower (a funny squeal neither of us had heard since childhood) and the bed was quite comfortable! All the makings of a great hotel! Hopefully you can enjoy your visit as well as we did!
