WorldMark Solvang

We stayed here 4 nights and what a great place to stay. We used points for our visit and were assigned a room in Building 1 (room 1205 - studio - not a murphy bed, just a bed in the room). Room was great with a small kitchen that was fully equipped with everything you could need. We also used the grill on the deck to cook out one night. Also has washer/dryer in room which we did not use. Location was fantastic just outside of town from the traffic but close enough to walk. We walked to the Santa Ines mission every night for sunset and it was beautiful. Many wineries around. Our favorites were Sandstone, Vega (also a farm with animals) and Brick Barn. We also stopped at a few in town. We visited many of the bakeries (favorites were Solvang Bakery and Olsen's) as well as two fantastic mea

Resort was located walking distance from shops. The recreation room had a foozeball, pool, ping pong table. They had tons of DVDs and board games we could check out or play there. Unfortunately it was cold and windy so we did not get a chance to use the pool. Sure looked inviting. Hope you get a chance to visit Solvang and stay at the resort. It was great. Only reason I marked down on sleep was because one of the twin beds was really squeaky and the other too soft. I have a bad back so did not sleep much.

Perfect place to stay for a wedding on Alisal Ranch . The price was amazing for such a large space with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. We brought our infant daughter and loved being able to set her up in her own room as we rented a 2 bedroom suite. The gym was pretty disappointing but not enough to not give this place 5 stars!

This location is a refreshing change from so many other Worldmark locations in that it isn't out in the middle of nowhere. Being right by downtown, we only got in the truck to drive when we had to go to the store and decided to stop by the Mission on the way back. Literally everything else that a tourist could see in the town was easily accessed via a short walk. We particularly liked that the luggage carts had pneumatic wheels that made them very quiet in comparison to others that we've used. I will say that the parking lot was a bit on the small side, and that anything the size of an F150 or above will find it very hard to park in the lot, but the street parking was easy and free. Definitely worth the visit.

The room was nice as usual and the kitchens are set up decently for a small apartment style setup. A little sad their hot tub was down, but there was a sign explaining the issue. Understandable that repairs sometimes take a few days.
