The Hamlet Inn

We enjoyed our stay. Super convenient location. Easy check in if booked ahead of their closing time. Got a code for entry (self check-in). Room does have a slight chemical smell that improved with airing out and running a/c and vent fans. Sheets were pretty manageable as well, initially in terms of any fumes. But pillows do let out some maybe detergent smell over the night. Bringing your own sheets (especially/specifically pillows) and airing out should be good for those who are more sensitive like someone in our party. Air conditioning unit has to be turned on with the 'on' button at bottom left of remote to stay on. Otherwise it doesn't work properly. All in all, would recommend. Didn't have much contact with customer service, though.

Location is 5 stars and I get to park in front of room. Walking distance to every tourist spots in Solvang. The bathroom smelt like a bit chemical but otherwise it’s clean. Have microwave and fridge with freezer. No service tho but we don’t need it anyway. Will come back

We had a great time at the Hamlet Inn. The contactless check-in/out was easy, and they communicated the process clearly. We had a couple of questions during our stay, and it was easy to text the number they provided to ask them. I asked if they had tea available (they only offer coffee in the room) and was told they didn't. Later, one of the employees brought us a couple of packets of her own tea! The room was very clean and the property was easy to find. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location close to the main street in Solvang. Despite being a small room, it had a sofa and a refrigerator, which made the stay convenient and comfortable.

On the day of our check- out, we went to breakfast. When we came back to the room at 10:40am (check-out was 11:00am), the management had assumed we left and had thrown out all our waters for our trip. We could not use the bathroom or give a last minute check cause everything had already been prepped for a new guest. We still had 20 minutes left till check-out. The Hamlet uses contactless check-in and made it clear that there would not be maid service during our stay. Clearly when you go to breakfast they feel it's appropriate to come in and throw away your belongings. Extremely upsetting and would never recommend this place again.
