Royal Copenhagen Inn

We were visiting Solvang for the Julefest. The location and good reviews were the main reason to book this hotel. I reached Solvang around lunchtime on checkin day. It was almost impossible to find parking anywhere. I checked with the front desk. They were gracious enough to let me park at the hotel before checkin. I also received a text when the room was ready. The room itself was clean and in good shape. Beds were comfortable. For breakfast they made me fill out a form with things we’d like. Options included fresh pastries, cereal, milk, juice, fruits etc. Breakfast was delivered to our room early morning. The danish were fresh and so yummy. They also have a pool which was heated and a bunch of games like ping pong. Will plan to stay here again for my future trips to Solvang.

Bathroom (shower) cleanliness could have been improved, with the shower not being totally clean from previous guests’ stay. Also, shower head height low, not designed for anyone 6’ or taller. Room furnishings basic but good, bed was comfortable. Location in town great, near many shops and restaurants. Gated dog area a nice feature, more hotels should have this.

we stayed at the Inn from Friday to Sunday and enjoyed our stay quite a bit. the Inn is so Centrally located that most of the shoppes and restauraunts were no more than an easy 10 minute walk away. the room was clean and the bed was super comfy. check in was easy and the ordering of the room delivered continental breakfast was easy as well. we would stay here again if we return to Solvang

Positive: Amazing staff. Clean, comfortable, cute rooms. Continental breakfast brought right to your door in the morning. Ping pong, mini golf, giant chess/checkers and a swimming pool. Great location right on the Main Street. Negative: ""

First, thank you Sadie for accommodating us for a bit of early check-in and ground floor location. Our room was PERFECT! The Christmas trees were beautiful, location absolutely spot on, the continental breakfasts delivered to our room, the maintenance staff (pushed the wrong button on remote) cheerfully fixed it in seconds, the cleaning staff had the room spotless on arrival...just can't say enough. The price was very, very reasonable, and can't wait to go back. Thank you!
